ABOUT ME

I began my journey in psychology at the University of Michigan, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Women’s and Gender Studies. I went on to complete my master’s and PhD in Clinical Psychology at Palo Alto University, with a clinical emphasis in LGBTQ psychology and a focus on women’s and gender issues.

During my graduate training, I worked in a variety of clinical settings across the Bay Area, including the Sexual and Gender Identity Clinic, a community mental health clinic, UCSF’s Alliance Health Project supporting LGBTQ and HIV-affected communities, and the Women’s Center at the Palo Alto VA serving veterans. I also gained experience in neuropsychological testing at Stanford University before moving to the East Coast for my clinical internship at MIT’s Mental Health and Counseling Center.

My training continued as a Harvard fellow at Cambridge Health Alliance, followed by postdoctoral work at Boston College. I later served as a staff clinician at Tufts University’s Counseling Center and returned to MIT’s Counseling Center before opening my private practice. In addition, I am the founder of The Listening Room, a therapy center where I work alongside other skilled clinicians and provide supervision to early-career therapists.

On top of my extensive clinical experience, I am deepening my work through advanced psychoanalytic training at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute (BPSI).

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from all walks of life. While I am clinically specialized in LGBTQ and gender issues, I also bring a generalist approach to my practice, helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and life transitions. My goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative space where you can work toward greater insight, resilience, and well-being.
