Supervision & Training at The Listening Room
At The Listening Room, we offer advanced graduate students a unique and enriching clinical training experience within a private practice setting. Under my supervision, trainees provide individual therapy and have the opportunity to co-lead—or even design and lead—their own group therapy offerings.
I bring extensive clinical expertise in LGBTQ+ psychology, women’s and gender issues, and identity development, with training across institutions such as MIT, Tufts, Boston College, UCSF, and the Palo Alto VA. My approach to supervision emphasizes cultivating each trainee’s clinical voice while grounding their work in evidence-based, culturally responsive care.
Our warm, collaborative practice includes a small community of licensed psychologists and trainees, creating a supportive environment that values mentorship, growth, and shared learning. This setting is ideal for students eager to deepen their skills in a dynamic, affirming, and professionally enriching environment.
